Vehicle Detail

I've had this bike forever, but due to arthritis, riding is not an option anymore. Here goes with the description, but I can't say I remember everthing I've done over the years to the bike. Please e-mail your questions. I purchased from the original owner in 1980. He was an Army? captain and had brought the bike back with him from Germany, that's why it is an original Daytona Orange, but a 1975 model. I used to work in a BMW shop and got a little carried away with accessories. It's been garaged over the past years except for a 1 1/2 year period in the late 80's. There are some minor scratches in the paint but no cracks in the fiberglass. Starting from the front: longer mud front fender, mag/solid wheel, reinforced fender brace and upper plate from San Jose BMW. Longer fork boots (13 rib). Cafe fairing has Heinrich Jeckell hand guards( you really do notice a difference). Cylinder guards. 6.3 gallon gas tank. All BMW emblems replaced with enameled porcelain emblems. Dual spark plugs with electronic ignition, a Dyna 3. Both Del Orto carbs replaced approx 1982. Temperature gauge dip stick. Big foot center stand. Installed deeper oil pan, holds an extra 1/2 quart. Installed a 5-speed transmission with a Kick Start(got it off a wrecked 1974 R90S, rebuilt transmission at time). Top end redone, new pistons and rings, around 1981, bottom main bearings redone around 1982. Reinforced back swing arm from San Jose BMW. Rear mag wheel. BMW Krauser bags included. Rear seat luggage rack. Included a BMW Shop manual for the R-series. Have a couple of other manuals I'll throw in. Tool kit is complete with extra Snap-on sockets included. The last time I drove this bike was approx. 2002. Had a complete service done, new tires, new battery, drove it home and it has sat ever since. I did drain the carbs and gas tank and disconnected the battery, but these items will need some work to start the bike again. This is a real classic BMW and I have taken good care of it, but it needs a new rider to claim it. I have no doubts that it will be able to run 110mph again( top speed I ever drove it, I think it could go more but I was afraid the saddlebags might snap off), and give a new rider many years of enjoyment. No warranty is expressed or implied, sold in a used condition, as is. I try to find any defects but I can't guarentee I'll see them all. No returns unless item is not as described. PS. Was informed by my brother last night, that when he borrowed the bike for a California trip in 1980, he had to keep up and cruise with a Porshe in New Mexico for awhile at speeds in excess of 130mph. I guess it was good that he didn't tell me at the time that he had used my recently purchased bike for that little contest.
