Car was purchased new on July 7, 1962 at Allen-Dennis Chevrolet in Olathe, Kansas Total Restoration 2008 Here is a video to give you an idea how it sounds: Extremely nice frame off 1962 Impala completed in 2008 out of Kentucky with less than 500 miles since restoration. An original factory air car it was completely rebuilt from top to bottom. Car was bought new in Kansas and includes about a 3” binder of receipts including lots of original receipts. It includes THE original dealer invoice from 1962. Also included is the chain of ownership for the last several years. Everything is new or has been rebuilt. Body is excellent and extremely straight painted in Sherwin Williams base coat clear coat and has all brand new glass. All brand new or replated trim, bumpers, grille etc. Interior is brand new including gauges, radio, and a number of air and heater parts. Engine is the original 327 completely rebuilt including new pistons, with an Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor, water pump and CompCams hydraulic cam. A 2 5/8 inch 4 core US Radiator was added and the powerglide** trans was rebuilt as well as the entire rear end assembly. (I do have a 350 Turbo that I can sell you or even have installed for about $600.) The 2 1/2 inch exhaust runs thru Flowmaster mufflers. The front was lowered and a power disc brake setup was installed. A Borgeson power steering conversion using a Delphi 600 box was added. Underneath the body is undercoated with all suspension components painted and a new gas tank. The car rolls on Intro wheels with 17x8’s up front and 17x10’s on the rear. Very nice tire/wheel combo. Garage kept and in very nice condition. The car maintains most of its original look, with the exception of the tires, wheels, and a few engine dress up items. All very tastefully done. The car has the perfect stance with about 1” of rake. Email me and I can send you a foto album link with over 50 detailed pictures. Georgia private owner. Attention Georgia residents, you PAY NO SALES TAX on this because you are buying it from an individual!!!! Absolutely everything works on the car! Condition The car has been meticulously maintained and driven, but it does have 3-4 minor paint imperfections, but I do mean minor. Overall the paint is very, very nice but it has been driven some since the restoration. The underside is extremely clean! Look at my feedback, whenever I sell something on Ebay I try to be as detailed as I can giving you a factual description to the best of my knowledge. I may add a Buy it Now price during the auction and I will reserve the right to end auction early if necessary. If you are serious, you should bid early, don’t wait till the end, as you just might miss it! I do not think you will be able to find a nicer car of this caliber and in the price range that will equal the quality and appearance of this car. The car has a Georgia Tag receipt, not a Georgia title as Georgia does not issue titles on pre 1965 cars. I do have the title from when I bought it, so we should be able to do a “chain of ownership” on the car if you are a title state.
