Vehicle Detail
This is a nice clean 1967 Chevelle project. I hate to get rid of it, but, I just have too many projects and need the space. When I purchased it, it had been disassembled and soda blasted with a coat of primer over the main body. Everything is very solid with no rust except the center of the trunk floor pan and it comes with the patch panel. The right quarter panel has been repaired with a section of an original patched and welded in. Overall, it is very clean, straight, and rust free. The center of the trunk floor is the only place there is rust. It comes with all the original parts - interior, seats, trim, etc. (except no motor, transmission, or steering wheel). The body has a 136 code vin tag on it, but when I purchased it, it also came with a 138 ss code vin tag, rivets, trim tag, and title, which also comes with the car. I have many of the parts to convert over to a 4-speed including the pedals, z-bar, and floor shift steering column. Because of the overall condition, this car will be very easy to restore. Please email with any questions (swiftred@owt.com). Buyer will have to arrange for transport. I may be able to deliver within a couple hundred miles if needed. Thanks for looking. On Feb-20-11 at 10:12:24 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to provide a bit more information to make sure the listing is complete as possible. The original column-shift steering column is missing, but it comes with a 67 floor-shift steering column that has the bolt on coupling which I believe is correct for a 396 SS car. It has all the glass except the windshield. It has bench seats. The 138 trim tag indicates a 4-speed bench seat car with a black interior and sierra fawn paint. Again, please feel free to contact me with any questions. I would encourage anyone in the area to come and see the car in person. On Feb-24-11 at 19:59:05 PST, seller added the following information: I added a few more photos based on some inquiries. The driver's side floor pan, the dash, the window channel, and the trunk. The trunk photo shows the rust through in the middle. It doesn't extend beyond what is shown in the photo. Not sure if the former owner put something caustic back there (battery acid?) or what, as the quarters and everywhere else is very solid. No rust in the channels around the windows and trunk. The photos don't show a lot of the parts. As I indicated, they are pretty much all there - the wheel wells, taillight extensions and trim, transmission cross member, driveline, trim and moldings, master cylinder, cowl panel, nuts & bolts, etc. If anyone wants any photos of a specific area, just email me. Thanks!
