1998 Porsche Boxster Tip Black on Black over Full Black Leather 55k miles, Sport Touring Package $54k MSRP, Special Order Car Delivered new at Cutter Porsche in Santa Barbara, CA in 2008 after being specially ordered by the one and only owner/seller. It has never been run hard or abused in any way and it shows all over. Maintenance: The car has been serviced only by the dealer and then later by one independent Porsche specialist and has never ‘wanted’ for anything at all. Regular scheduled service and fluid change intervals have been met or exceeded. Were it to need a repair, it was handled generously; for example, when it needed front brake pads at about 40k miles, it received 4 new rotors and pads all around; when a vacuum leak recently affecting smooth running, the entire intake system was removed and resealed. Condition: The car is in absolutely original and unmolested condition throughout. Never smoked in, regularly detailed. Everything works exactly as it should; there is a small flaw in the Speedo LED (see photo). There are no oil leaks of any kind, the engine, transmission and brakes are smooth and correct. The car is fine cosmetically as well; the seats were covered with sheepskins from new and show literally no wear or aging as a result, as does all of the other leather and interior details owing to a garaged life and proper maintenance. You’ll see from the pictures that the original top and rear plastic window are unworn, not faded and otherwise very fresh. The original paint shines like new and all 4 wheels have zero damage - they not been refurbished. You will see that there is none of the typical aging/crazing of the headlight lenses – they are like new. There is minimal road rash up front consistent with easy, local usage (the owner used a factory bra too, included). There is a scratch in the rear bumper above the license plate, but it doesn’t show in the photos. There are no door dings or dents, nil chips on the door edges and all of the original glass is excellent. Accessories: All accessories are included as it was delivered new; all key remotes (2), books, records, tools, windstop, 6-CD cassette, and window sticker and delivery literature are included.
