1948 PONTIAC STREAMLINER 8 FASTBACK Popular 2 dr slantback, SilverStreak straight 8 ready for restoration or whatever. Absolutely unmolested original, no bondo or modified in any way. Still has the original paint. Deceased gentleman drove it 3 years ago. I have not tried to start it but I did turn the engine over. The Streamliner 8 has a 122" wheelbase. It shows 69,000 miles and may be about right. Does not have a title, comes with a bill of sale. Only rust thru on the entire outside is a very small spot under the rear drivers taillight. A couple quarter size holes in the trunk floor. A 2" x 6" hole in the floor board back seat area and a quarter size hole in drivers floor board. Dents in front fenders, trunk lid and roof. Also a tear in the front passenger fender along the bottom. Some rust spots were painted chrome on front and rear bumpers. Bumpers have bumperettes front and rear and are as straight as an arrow. Three of the grill bars were painted chrome and the grill is absolutely straight. Passengers windshield and 2 side glass are cracked. Windows crank up and down. It is a very complete car, everything is there except the rear seat bottom and battery are missing. The headliner fabric has been removed. As with most restorations this will need attention from top to bottom. This will make an excellent candidate for restoration. It is NOT a rust bucket. It comes with a Pontiac book, misc. info and DVD. The wheel covers are off my FORD and do not go with the car. (sorry) Very low reserve. Come see it if you can.
