I was only thirteen years old when my mother took delivery of this 1976 Corvette from Carl Chevrolet in San Jose, California. I was with her when she drove it off the showroom floor. A long-time Corvette enthusiast, this car received the best of care, and has never spent a night outside the garage. The image of this car was used to create the Santa Clara Corvette Club logo, still displayed on the rear glass of this car. This car still wears its original paint, and the interior is original with the exception of the seats. The seats are from a 1979 Corvette, and were installed in 1979. Also installed around the same time is a 1978 Corvette Pace Car front spoiler. A power antenna was installed during the CB radio craze in the seventies. It has 9/16 rear, and 1 1/8 front, sway bars.
