1970 Buick Skylark Custom. This is a 2 owner California car from new. Sold new in Oakland, CA and spent its life in the dry central valley. The custom has the high compression 350 Buick engine with factory 4bbl carb and intake. This car has 89,680 original miles and runs perfect. Fires intantly and idles very smooth with no smoking. The original Quadrajet carb was recently professionally rebuilt. The car also has a new alternator, new distributor, new tires and fresh brakes. This is a power steering and power brake car. Both work perfectly. The car also has AIR CONDITIONING the works. The frigidare compressor was rebuilt a few years ago. Heater works too. As do all lights and gauges. Mechanically the car is ready to be driven anywhere today. The body on the car is very good and bone stock, original paint and original vinyl top. It needs cosmetic restoration. It is SOLID, very solid. No rust in floors, rockers or quarter panels, not even a blister. The trunk floor has scaling and could have pinholes once it is cleaned up? I will let the pictures speak to the body condition. The grill has cracks and the rear bumper has a dent (both shown in the photos). The sides are very, very straight. The interior really should be replaced. Headliner and seats are the worst. It has original carpets, floor mats etc.. The god news is the dash is very nice and no cracks. All guages are clear and nice. It has 5 new tires (matching, but spare has a screw in it and needs repair). 4 original hubcaps are mint. I have clear CA title and it is currently registered and driven. I have original owners manual, warranty info, protecto plate, both sets of original keys, original touch-up paint.
