Up for auction is my 2001 TL1000R. I have owned this bike for over 6 years now and I never ride it. I put a few miles a year on it to keep it running and riding perfectly and I take it to Florida for bike week. I have purchased a Harley and now am selling this, in my opinion, one of a kind TL1000R. It only has 3000 original miles on it and they are documented on the digital speedometer. Most of these bikes you see for sale have 10, 15, or even 20 thousand miles on them. This one has 3,000. It runs and looks like new. There is a blemish on top of the tank where gas sat under the cover and I did not know it. It is a uniform blemish that looks like it is supposed to be there. It is just a rough spot. I bought a tank protector/sticker to hide and chose not to put it on. The tank bra is perfect. I have an undertail kit on it, the rider seat has been done (professionally) in yellow and I have twin Yoshimura exhaust pipes on it. The only thing wrong with the body is a small rub mark on one side where a strap in the trailer on the way to Daytona rubbed on it and a rock put a small hole in the lower fairing. It is where the bike is black and it is underneath so you cannot see it. Other than that it is fully factory and perfect. I have all the keys and the owners manual as well as the passenger seat. I just purchased a new battery for the bike and had spark plugs and an oil change done on it before I stored it. The miles may fluctuate by a couple hundred or so as I have the battery out of it while it is being stored and I could not turn the bike on. I can help however you would like with shipping. I have bought and sold many big things on e-bay and have had great luck with shipping. I suspect it will cost around 500.00 dollars to have it shippped across country like California. It will be, of course, less to have it shipped shorter distances. I am setting the reserve much lower than I think this bike is worth. I watched the last couple sell on e-bay and mine is much nicer and has only 3000 miles compared to the 12 and 17 thousand mile bikes that bring 4500 to 4800.
