This is a 1998 Porsche 911 last of the air cooled classics. I bought the car in 2005 with about 24000 miles on it. It had been in an accident early in it’s life and was purchased from the insurance company by the owner of a car dealer in Boston, Euro Auto. He took the car and lowered it to Euro specs, added the aero package, new wider wheels and tires and is basically responsible for creating the car as you see it today. This has been my third 911 and when I bought it I had no intention of ever selling it so the salvage title made no difference to me, it was one of the best looking 911’s I had ever seen. Since then I have driven the car as an everyday driver and it has never missed a beat. The economy has hit my family with a vengeance and I am now forced to part with a car that I had dreamed of for years. I had an accident a few years ago where I was hit on the driver’s side rear fender, it was at low speed, the guy was pulling out of a shopping center, was drunk and ran into me. That was repaired and has had no effect on the car. In preparation for selling, I have replaced the clutch and done some cosmetic painting to the front spoiler. It is in mechanically perfect condition and I say that without hesitation, I would not sell it in any other way. Additional features include a custom air intake system, I sent off the computer and had it set for precision tuning, tires and wheels. I am not a smoker and it has been garaged for all but a few months and during that time I have used a car cover. The top is in good shape, does not leak and is in working order. The only flaws that I can think of are the back bumper as a small dent that I have shown in one of the pictures and because the rear spoiler in now fixed instead of speed activated the console light that let’s you know that the spoiler has not raised up come on. It’s one of those things that no one has ever been able to figure out how to make it stay off. But that is it, if you win this bid your going to be getting a great car. The naturally asperated engine drives like a VW under 4000 RPM’s and like the space shuttle over 4000 RPM’s. Please note that this car is not all wheel drive, Ebay did not give any other option, it is rear wheel drive.
