Note that people still use these cars on the race track and you can get around 600hp out of these motors with the right tweaks. These cars were VERY innovative and not much changed from 78 to 95 (which is how long they made them). Porsche got it right the first time, and set standards which most major manufacturers followed in the years to come. This car was ahead of it's time and in some ways, still is! If you have a passion for porsche this is the one you want. Minimal investment for something that can be worth up to 50k if you put the time into it. The vehicle is located in Austin. VERY good shape for a car of it's age. The paint is consistent, but wasn't the most expensive one to be done and is bubbling and flaking in some places (to be expected). 7 out of 10 approximately. Just about everything in the interior has been replaced and is near like new condition. The odometer stopped at 73k. The previous owner estimates 76,000 original miles to be on the car. This vehicle will need cv boots, but the joints are fine, and will need a torque tube (bearings). Any additional parts we have for this vehicle will be included in the auction (which generally consists of interior trim pieces etc and are worth approximately $400 on ebay. we'll also include all 3 accessory belts). The upholstery is good but not perfect. there are stress tears in the driver's seat but the passenger seat is good, the seat covers are brand new in the front (1 week old at this time). The seats are not in too bad of shape under the covers. the padding is fine and there are no springs coming through. The rear seats are black leather, and are a 8 out of 10. Carpet is yellow in color and there aren't any obvious stains or discolorations. Rack and Pinion seems to have started leaking recently. it will need seals. Currently, the park position does engage fully. We think it's an adjustment that needs to be made, not transmission work. AC and heater don't work. previous owner thought it may be the control box. I'd be willing to bet it's just not plugged in inside the dash. Please see the attached videos and photos for additional information.
