Vehicle Detail
This car is in running condition although we have not driven it lately because its winter. This car is in excellent original condition with a fresh paint job that looks like it was done really well, as you can see from pictures. It Looks like there was a lot of work done on the car mechanically, for instance you can see that the brake rotors have been painted, etc. We inherited this car, so we don't know too much about it, other than we want it out of the garage. We have been offered $3000 for the car, but have been told its worth closer to $8000, however, the winner of this auction will take the car, no reserve. It has to be gone from my garage. The car is stored in a Garage in Calgary Canada, and I will help ship it wherever you like, as well as supply more pictures if asked. The car is dusty from sitting, but the pain seems to look really good underneath. The seats as you can see have some wear and stains on them, but we have not attempted to clean or wash the car at all. The engine looks great, with no obvious problems, I will add pictures later of that as well as the VIN and plates or whatever else you want to know. Good luck with your bidding on this great classic car - someone will enjoy this. I will enjoy my garage again. Greg On Feb-14-11 at 17:23:37 PST, seller added the following information: After charging the battery for a bit, it started right up, and I drove it out of the garage to take come pictures and give it a hand wash. Wow, it looked really good outside. It runs really well, and sounds awesome. It did leak a little oil from the valve covers which was driping on the headers, so you will see some smoke when I have the hood open. But for a 41 year old motor, it sounded really good. (Brings back the old days.) I have uploaded over 100 more pictures, and 3 videos, some are quite large to.:http://public.me.com/ggenge password is snickers - all lower case - and look in the Folder: Toronado. I have tried to supply complete and honest information about the car showing any flaws that it has in the hope that an enthusiast will adopt this amazing car and keep it alive. Maybe one day I'll see it on Barrett Jackson going for $100K. Good luck bidding - looks like we have some interest.
