The transmission shifts through the gears automatically with ease, and has no hesitation or jerking. The engine runs strong, and as i said, has plenty of power for this small car. The best thing about this car is the Diesel engine. These engines are incredibly durable, and this one has very low mileage (for a diesel) when compared to similar cars of the same year. This Jetta comes dressed up in bright white glossy paint, that is mostly free of blemishes. You may find the normal light scratch here or there, but no dents. The interior is relatively clean overall. The gorgeous tan leather seats are free of rips and tears, and the carpets are without heavy stains. It even comes with the heavy duty rubber Jetta Floor Mats, which have protected the carpet nicely! As is typical in most Jettas, the controls for the radio are a bit stiff, but still working fine.
