This is one beautiful looking and great running Lincoln Continental Town Car. I recently bought this car from our 88 year old neighbor who was the second owner of this Lincoln. He has owned it since 1982 but has had it parked in the garage and seldom drove it since 2003. The car is in great shape and was always well maintained. It has a 400ci V8 engine that sounds great and has lots of power. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The brakes work well and the steering is still tight and responsive. The previous owner was very meticulous about this car so the interior looks almost like new with only minor wear evident on the seats and carpeting. The exterior of the vehicle is also in excellent shape for it's age. The car was repainted once in the late 80's and it was painted the original color. It is still holding up quite well with only minor blemishes and chips as would be expected for a 30 year old car. The vinyl roof is original and is starting to show signs of it's age but is still usable as is with no rips or major cracking (car was always garaged). The Lincoln wheels still look good,the chrome is all excellent. The fold up headlight doors work perfectly. This car of course has power everything including power windows,locks,seats,trunk and antenna all of which works perfectly except the passanger rear window. It also has cruise, AM/FM 8-track, 40 channel Ford CB, and Cartier clock. It all works but A/C could use a charge. Otherwise the only thing requiring attention is the fuel gage which I found to not be working. All in all a great riding old car for the money. It is being sold with no reserve so highest bid will buy this beautiful old Lincoln.
