1988 vette. I've put about 10'000 miles on this car and it really runs well. Work I've done: Not much on a mechanical level. Overhauled the cooling system. Pulled it all apart because it was running hot. Took out radiator , completely flushed and cleaned it, got all the leaves and stuff out that tend to collect and cause problems with these cars. Since I was that deep into it, I added a secondary cooling fan and added a switch in the car. New antifreeze.. If you google C4's overheating, You'll see on hot days they can run hot. This one does not run hot- cools perfectly. Installed brand new water pump. Brand new power steering pump too. New alternator and the serpentine belt. Fresh oil, tune up- Cap and rotor brand new... Rebuilt the headlight motors. They have plastic rollers that over time turn to powder and the lights won't go up and down. Installed new "aluminum upgrade" rollers- so they should last forever... All lights on this car function perfectly. Paints about a year old, decent shape. Small area behind pass window has a little paint crack. Get lots of compliments on this car. There is a couple little runs but not very noticeable. Front windshield is new. All the rubber seals are new. But the one around the windshield needs to be redone. This auction comes with the new seal- you need to install. I just don't have the time to mess with it. It will have to be done, heavy rains will get inside car and front windows have trouble rolling up. Not a big deal just making it clear that's the only big problem with this car. New Dew wipes inside and out. Tires all have plenty of tread. The rear ones have a little weathering in one area, like they were flat at some point. I've put 10'000 miles on them with no worries, just pointing it out. Inside new leather seats and heaters and man are the heaters nice this winter!! Get real toasty hot!! Aluminum dash trim kit looks real sharp. All buttons work, headlight knob is new... New kenwood am/fm cd player 200 watts x4. I added a 10 inch dvd player that is easily removable. Just clips in the center (view photos). Gives the inside of this car a much newer feeling- seems more modern and the picture is great too. New shocks all the way around. Could use a new steering wheel. It's peeling. Headliner material is new. I'll add more when I recall. Overall this is a great car and a blast to drive. Purrs at 85- 90mph...
