Rare opportunity to own a piece of muscle car history a 1969 Olds. 442 convertible. Orginally special ordered from King Motor Company in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and delivered to George S. Foltz on Decemer 31st.1968. (see pictures of owners manual and protect-o-plate). Top 10 best in car shows and trophy winner many times. Frame on restortation completed in the fall of 2006 in Flordia. (see pictures). Rust free Florida car finished in a beautiful 2-tone cameo white and brushed gold pearl trim. ( $7K spent on new paint job). New black convertible top, motor, hoses and hydraulics installed. Like new condition black vinyl interior compliment this 442. Non-matching numbers vehicle powered by a 1970 Rocket 455 cubic inch V8 rated at 390 hp. Vehicle has a 3-speed automatic Turbo-350 transmission with a positive traction rear-end. Transmission has been removed and completely rebuilt with a new torque converter, bands and seals. Approximately 3,150 total miles on engine since being removed from car and completely rebuilt internally. (see pictures). Orginial miles on vehicle before frame on restortation was 103,476. New pistons, rods, valves, water pump, high preformance intake manifold, mild cam, carburetor, HEI distributor, heavy duty starter, plug wires, coil, (100 amp.) alternator, battery, radiator, hoses, belts, plus much more. Lots of chrome added to compliment engine compartment. Over $6K invested under the hood alone. All of the air-conditioning components and hoses have been replaced as well as the heater core on this factory installed a/c system. Rechromed bumpers front and rear installed on car. With the sale comes lots of receipts for restortation parts purchased. I have personally owned this muscle car since 1997. Car has always been garaged and has no rust. I now reside in N.C. This 442 is equipped with the following factory installed items: Factory a/c, power steering, power brakes, cluster gauges with factory tachometer and clock, am radio, sport steering wheel, console with bucket seats, tinted glass, rear sway bars and ralley wheels. Vehicle is available for inspection by appointment. Car is Sold As Is with no warranty implied or otherwise. The seller shall not be respondsible for the correct description, authenticty, genuniess, or defects herin and makes no warranty in connection there in. A deposit of $1,200.00 is required by pay-pal within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Balance must be paid within 7 days after the auction for this item has ended. As such I restored this vehicle to Oldsmobile 442 specifications and my liking. Upon listing car for sale, several interested buyers have contacted me to inform me that this is not a real 442. I therefore stand corrected and apologize.
