Vehicle Detail

I bought this Jeep winter of '04/'05, I'm the second owner. I was involved in a minor accident a couple of years ago, but no damage to the jeep. My bike and receiver hitch bike rack took all the impact. Just registered in PA from Florida. If you are a Pennsylvania buyer it will have a current PA state inspection and emissions test! THE GOOD Parts replaced from most recent on...Power Slot slotted front brake rotors and Hawk HPS pads (three months ago)Brake fluid flush (when brakes were replaced)Clutch kit including clutch disc, fly wheel, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing (9 months ago)Rear main seal (9months ago)Oil pan gasket (9 months ago)Valve cover gasket (6 months ago)Poly Transmission mount (2 years ago)Clutch slave and master cylinders (2 years ago)Just about all A/C components replaced (2 years ago)Front seats replaced with Rugged Ridge Offroad suspension seats (9 months ago)Headliner replaced with custom camo fabric (9 moths ago)Battery replace last yearSerpentine belt replaced last yearBoth U-joints on rear drive shaft replaced with SACHS U-joints w/ grease ports (2 years ago)Both differentials, transmission and transfercase fluids all replaced (2 years ago)Spark plugs and Ignition coils replaced within the last two years (2 years ago)Full synthetic oil used since 2004Power steering pump replaced in '05 ARB front "bull bar" bumper Hella 500 fog lightsIPF replacement "e-code" headlights using H4 Sylvania Silver Star bulbs with custom relayed wiring harness built from Daniel Stern Lighting kit (incredible upgrade over stock headlights!) Olympic Offroad rock railsRusty's Offroad 3" suspension lift (4 years ago)Crager "Soft 8" 15x8 Black steel wheels and BFG AT 31" tires (including matching spare) (about 35% - 40% tread left)Custom rear cargo area storage box and 12" Kicker solobaric sub in custom boxAlpine AmplifierMemphis Audio front component speakersPioneer 6.5" 3-way rear speakers Clarion CD/MP3 head unit with Sirius satellite radio (you need your own subscription)Husky Floor matsTinted windows all around. Factory and Thule roof rack with Thule M.O.A.B. basket sprayed with Duplicolor truck bed liner. Yakima Spare Tire holder and lock for roof basket. Rear Class II receiver hitch, 4 pin wire harness, and extra ball mounts. THE BAD The paint shines up nice, but it is 10 years old and it shows it's age. There are some minor surface scratches/ scuffs down the sides from tree branches, but it is just the clear coat and I'm sure could be buffed out (it is a Jeep after all). There is a small ding on the driver side door that appears to be from someone elses door probably in a parking lot. The only mechanical issues I am aware of are a the beginning signs of minor leaking of the water pump and steering box. Neither are dripping or loosing fluid. Both of which I was going to address come spring when the weather breaks. So I would suggest a new waterpump and related parts and a flush of the cooling system. As far as the steering box goes the best upgrade is a '99 Dodge Durango unit...bolts right up and a bit more heavy duty for larger tires. Truck is solid, never really got a chance to go wheelin' and the Jeep spent 4 years of it's life in Southwest Florida. It currently has a bit over 141k on the odometer but it is currently my daily driver. I hate to see it go, but my job is beginning to entail a lot more driving and I really need something with great gas mileage! I have this vehicle listed for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally! EXTRAS, I broke the passenger side view mirror last year and replaced it with an aftermarket unit from eBay that is also heated. I have the matching driver side new in box that I never installed (didn't need to as the OEM is still fine). Rusty's transfercase drop that I didn't end up needing after the lift was installed. Extra Thule rack parts. Hayes repair manual. I think that is about it. *I do have some other extra's I would be willing to negotiate if you wish to have them with the jeep (yakima 3 bike receiver mount bike rack, brand new Cobra CB anniversary ed. never installed) those two items are NOT included in the sale (available separately).* Thanks for looking! On Feb-04-11 at 08:57:33 PST, seller added the following information:Yesterday I noticed a slight leak at the rear differential. I'm working on replacing the seal. If I cannot get to it and it is of concern to you if you win I wil gladly negotiate the final sale price. Aside from that the Jeep is mechanically sound!
