For sale is my 1991 Red Spirit R/T. It is a very fun and fast car that I hate to get rid of, but I need the money. It has tons of new parts and has had a lot of recent work done to it. The way the car is optioned it is 1 of 774 red R/Ts made in 1991. The body is really clean, straight, and virtually rust-free. The paint is in very good condition for a 20 year old car. The only sign of rust is on the bottom of the passenger side door bubbling about 1"x1". There's a small hole in the driver side rocker panel the size of a nickel, but all the rust was removed and the hole is superficial. The underbody has been repainted with a rust preventative paint and is extremely clean. The car has always been stored in my garage and not driven winters since I owned it. This car makes around 300hp. It's a 5speed manual. Things recently done: Performance: ------Holset HE351cw turbo just rebuilt by turbos unleashed & is still under their 2 year warranty. Only has about 75 miles on the Holset setup. ------Down pipe was custom made by an expert on these cars in Monroe, Wisconsin. ------Polyurethane motor mounts and solid bobble strut. ------Walbro 255LPH fuel pump. ------Cometic multi-layer steel head gasket was done about 1000 miles ago (has uncracked head with original steel core plugs) ------ARP head studs. ------58mm throttle body. ------Exhaust is a 3 Inch mandrel bent one from FWD Performance. ------Has a QTP exhaust cut-out in place of cat and then a dynomax ultraflow muffler. ------Turbos unleashed Front-mount intercooler with 2.5 inch mandrel piping. ------Agency Power blow off valve (part number: AP-CZ4A-150) ------185 Degree Thermostat. Maintenance: ------New brake pads and rotors. ------New fuel lines. (coated to prevent rust) ------New fuel filter. ------New fuel pressure sending unit. ------New gas tank, strap/bolts. ------New valve stem seals. ------All new top end gaskets while the cylinder head was off. Everything was bead blasted, then painted or powder coated to factory colors. ------New Gates timing belt tensioned correctly. ------New Felpro oil pan gasket. ------New Oxygen sensor. ------Newer tires. ------Brand new Interstate Battery. ------New E-brake cable. ------New E-brake shoes and hardware. ------Brand new OEM headlights (old ones were foggy) ------Vacuum distribution block with all new rubber lines ------New braided stainless steel oil supply line for turbo. ------New oil return hose for turbo. ------New oil pressure sending unit. ------Magnacore 8.5mm spark plug wires. ------New NGK GR5 sparkplugs. ------New water pump. I have receipts for most all of this stuff. The interior was totally gone through with new carpeting. Everything was taken out and thoroughly cleaned. I'd say the interior is close to being a 10 out of 10. -The car is on the stock ECU and makes about 14psi with straight vacuum line to the turbo I didn't get the chance to upgrade the ECU and raise the boost yet. Once the ECU is upgraded and boost is raised to around 22psi with the bigger injectors the car will easily be making around 375hp and should run low 13's in the quarter, maybe even high 12's with drag slicks.
