Up for sale we have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler that has under gone a complete frame off restore and conversion to a AEV Brute less than 500 miles ago. This truck is truly one of a kind. No expense was spared and many custom one off parts were fabricated. From the custom made front bumpers with color matched Warn 9.5ti winch to the custom made inner fenders on the truck bed that give it that true factory appearance. I have seen many Brutes but none this nice. Everywhere that I drive it people thin that is either a brand new Wrangler that just came out or some sort of proto type. This truck took a year to build and was done by one of the best body shops in my area. Over $50,000 spent in labor, parts, and a whole lot of time. This truck was not thrown together. Yes it does. Never wrecked. On Feb-05-11 at 11:37:39 PST, seller added the following information: Have had a few questions about the drive train on this Brute. When this Brute was built the factory axles redone and new gears put in. The transmission was totaly gone through with new synchronizes and all. The clutch was replaced. The motor is stock. Also the interior in this jeep was totally redone. New carpet. Seats redone. Door panels redone. A lot of people have asked me about lockers and such. The Brute does not currently have any lockers. That would be a easy upgrade if someone wanted to do so. I never had any intentions of taking this truck offroad at all. I already have other toys just for that. While this truck is plenty capable I just did not intend to use it that way my self. This entire truck was color sanded and buffed. Days were spent making this paint slick as glass. Including the rear inner fender wells. This truck is a multiple show winner. It never fails that when I drive it everyone goes nuts over it. The Brute also has a $3000 custom built stereo with 2 10" DVC carbon fiber subs behind the seat. All the mids and hi's are also amplified as well.
