When new it was compared to the Ferrari 348ts, Corvette, and 300ZX Turbo. Recently identified by Car and Driver as a up and coming collectible. Only 4700+- built(as you will probably see in anything ever related to a Typhoon ad). The old water to air intercooler was swapped out for the big air to air intercooler because of the limited capacity of the hydro intercooler. The reason the Syclone was limited to a 500lb payload and the Typhoon had as sticker telling you not to tow with it was due to this limited capacity of the intercooler. The water to air intercooler was only good for about 15 seconds of continuous boost where an air to air does not have that same limitation. Now you can tow your jetskis or dirtbikes now that this hinderance had been eliminated. Overall the paint is really nice, ther are a few chips on the hood and a couple on the drivers side fender(see pictures). This is definitely one of the cleaner existing examples of a GMC Typhoon out there. I can arrange delivery, at your cost within 350 miles otherwise you may want to check out uship.com.
