Amazing original 53,000 car. This is the most collectable version of the Big Healey, the last year of the Austin Healey, the MK III BJ8 Phase II. This example has been in dry central Texas for all of its life until last year. It has a huge file of reciepts for maintenence and work done over the last 30+ years dating back to the early 1970's. while it has been in storage and little used for the last 5+ years, we have since done some recommissioning. Since we purchased it, we have put new brakes all around, new hubs, new wheels,tune up parts, carb rebuild, hoses, dash and much more. The paint is older, but is in good shape.The body is excellent and has no rust. All body panels are original and the car has never been apart. The interior is mostly original except for the dash and carpet and is in great shape. It runs and drives great, has awesome oil pressure, does not smoke and the trans and clutch are in great shape. there are no bad noises and it runs like a top It is hard to find any Healey with low mileage that has never NEEDED restoration that has never been abused or had to have the body rebuilt. Cars that have never been apart have a much better "all one piece" feel, that is hard to make right in a restoration. While not perfect or fully restored, its a great example that is ready to show at your local British meet, or simply drive on the weekends Terms:Buyer is responsible for shipping, however I can arrange at a low price (example $650 to Los Angeles).
