OK here is a rare bird and a bit of a project please read entire listing. i saved this bike from sitting for the rest of its life. it had sat around indoors outdoors undercover since 1986 last time it was registered. 13114 orig miles, i went to great lengths to clean the fuel tank fuel valve and all three carburetors new fuel lines and filters, i had a new ignition key made. put a different used seat on it old torn up one goes with also. put a new battery in it, cleaned the ignition points repaired some bad wireing connections and started the bike it was very hard to start but after some cranking on and off and choking she fired. i rode it maybe 2 miles the transmission shifted good all gears clutch worked good guage's worked ok head light tail and brake worked. battery wont charge needs a regulator maybe? front brake master cylinder is seized up and needs rebuilt. so yesterday i fired it up to see if i could get it running any better and it started missing real bad and didnt sound good at all i have a good feeling that a cylinder has partially seized or broke a ring and lost compression i pulled the plugs out no damage to them it still spins over and will start but something is definately wrong. the top end needs to be taken down and have a good looking at plan on a top end job with this one thats what happens when bikes sit way too long everything gets brittle i thought about doing it but i just really dont have the time and i think ive gone as far as i want to go with it. it comes with the original title signed and a bill of sale and the original seat needing recovered and two exhaust tip things and the air box. look close at the pictures this bike is all original and all there probably original tires chain sprockets etc. any questions please ask email or call anytime 208-329-9409 i have described as best and honest as i could i may be able to personally deliver for my costs local pickup is always an option or do your due diligence in trucking company contacting payments excepted cash certified check postal money orders. ill probably be listing this bike locally as well but theres not many people here into these bikes but i reserve the right to cancel this auction for a local sale im sure it would be unlikely though. thanks so much for looking IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITY DON'T MISS OUT CAFE RACER MAYBE????
