Vehicle Detail
I have owned this truck for about three years it came from Boston where they use sand on roads. The cab has no rust (door bottoms perfect) or dents . The frame is also virtually rust free every spring I clean and paint as needed. The utility bed made by Supreme has rust spots on side doors but none on wheel wheels easy fix.It has a 5.4L Triton and automatic transmission just serviced in summer. The truck has brake controller and Meyer touch pad for plow control. The back bumper is diamond plate steel and has been dented on both sides but no box damage. It has 2" hitch and round plug. The front seat has a split on seam by drivers door 6" long cannot be seen in photo could fix or foam good seat cover only $199.00 obo on ebay. The truck has 91k miles runs like new oil changes every 3k miles. I have always maintained the truck at either the Ford dealer or Herdas and just was serviced at Herdas Truck Repair $750.00 which included all new brakes and two new calipers 2000 miles ago. The truck shifts in and out of 4 wd no problems manual hubs and stick on floor. It has Wrangler Pro Grade tires with 11/32nds all the way around only 7k miles on tires. The front end is tight just had stabilizer links replaced at Herdas five months ago. It has a 8' foot commercial Diamond plow bottom trip edge (highend Meyers) new angle hoses and fluid change at the beginning of winter. It has E60 pump fast all directions up down left right and has Meyers rubber boot pump looks new under boot. The blade, a-frame & under carriage was painted last summer but needs minor touch ups. It has double sided cutting edge will need flipped soon. I just installed a brand new set of Saber II Meyers lights ($320.00) a month ago replaced Saber I junk. LED marker lights wired for amber light with switch in cab. It has cruise, tilt and A/C that blows cold. I am buying another big truck for my company. Great Truck!!!!! On Jan-24-11 at 09:44:28 PST, seller added the following information: I called my body guy he said it would cost $375.00 for door repairs on truck and will need new diamond plate section in bed (hole 6"x6") so I reduced buy it now to offset those repairs. The door bottoms are as clean as the picture I even removed weather stripping and replaced to show how clean NO RUST ON CAB. It is about 3 degrees out or I would take more pictures truck has road grim and cannot be washed when it is this cold.On Jan-24-11 at 12:55:05 PST, seller added the following information: Clean pictures taken 5 weeks ago when I had it detailed and dirty ones are as of today the truck will be clean and ready to go for winning bidder you wont be disappointed. On Jan-24-11 at 18:24:17 PST, seller added the following information: Are Diamonds good The older Diamonds (prior to 2009) are by far the toughest plow ever made for 3/4 - 1ton trucks. They have more steel and better torsional rigidity than any other manufacturer. In the past yr Meyer has redisigned the Diamond plow and it is no longer as robust as before. Meyer has reduced the amount of torsional strength and the moldboard is now 12ga not the 11ga they had before. Meyer reps insist testing on the new Diamond has not had failures, but I an VERY skepticle. Comparing the two side by side will clearly show how 'weak' the new Diamond is compared to the old style. As any plower knows this business is demanding and any weak links will show at 2am. I'm not willing to spend my dollars on equipment that I believe will not perform under demanding conditions.
