Up for auction is my 1998 BMW ///M3 coupe. I originally purchased this car to keep, however with the current economical situation and my father's declining health I reluctantly need to sell it. The main issues with the car are the paint, alignment, and front seats. I have got quotes to repair all three of these issues and locations where they can be professionally repaired for reasonable prices. One other issue that I noticed is that the valve cover leaks a small amount of oil; so that would have to be replaced. As you can see in the pictures the body of the car is in great shape. There is normal wear and tear as expected with a car from this year. I would be more than willing to have it inspected by your own mechanic if desired. The interior sports Milano black leather and it is in good shape, except for the left bolster on the driver's seat and the right bolster on the passenger's seat. They will have to be reupholstered or you can look to purchase some used ones on eBay. This M3 has a 3.2 liter In-line 6 cylinder engine, which produces a whopping 240hp. This car is very powerful and quick. It idles smoothly and starts perfectly every time. Don't miss out on this excellent opportunity to own this wonderful sports car! This car is fully equipped; it originally sold for over $44,000.The tires were changed recently and still have a good amount of thread left. Since I've owned the car I have changed the oil every 5,000 miles with Mobil 1 fully-synthetic motor oil. You won't have to change it for another 2,500 miles.The a/c does not work. The passenger side tail light is cracked. I recently changed the air filter. Also, I paid $355 for registration until April 2011. It handles great, but I'm sure that once the alignment is done it will perform even better. Driving this car is a purely exhilarating experience. I am definitely going to buy another BMW M3 once my financial situation gets better. These German cars are made with perfection in mind and are a real pleasure to drive.
