Vehicle Detail
I am selling a true Barn Find Mustang. It is a 1966 coupe with a factory console, air conditioning, 289 2V and automatic transmission. It has a blue exterior with blue interior. The car needs a "full" restoration but it has all it's original parts and the original hub caps are inside the car. It appears to have its original engine and transmission. The car has "all" the typical Mustang rust including the floors, trunk floors, lower rear quarters and spots on the front fenders and doors. This car could be used for parts or restored. The engine is not seized and I will be trying to start it over the next several days. The Mustang does not have a title because they are not required on vehicles this old in Georgia and it will be sold with a Bill of Sale. The door tag reads as follows 65A, U, 27, 24F, 21, 6, 6. If you have any questions please ask before bidding because I don't want to play any games. I have a Daughter in college or I would be restoring this Mustang myself. Happy Bidding. On Jan-28-11 at 17:25:46 PST, seller added the following information: To All watching this listing: I went to the local tag office today and had the car put in my name. Because the Mustang has been off the road since 1988 it was not in the "system". In Georgia this requires that a local sheriff come verify VIN and run the VIN # for any problems. There were none found and I have the documents to send to the high bidder. With the sale I will forward a Bill of Sale, the background verification, and a document from the tag office stating the car is in my name. It is technically not "registered" to me because I did not buy a tag. If there are any questions please ask them now! Thanks, Phil
