Welcome and thank you for stopping by and checking out this beautiful AMC Jeep CJ 7 that I have up for auction. Let me start off and tell you a little bit about this Jeep. It belongs to one of my customers, I built it for him, now he's bought two more CJ's , so we are selling this one, to build the others. I am the owner, CEO, CFO, Head Painter, Head Fab, Head Super Grunt of Ruby Reds Customs out of Covington GA, 40 min east of ATL. I do all the work myself, alone side of my pup......Gator(no, Im not a FL fan) , and all I do is restore CJ 's!!!!! This is a 1982 Laredo fully restored to better than new condition. Everything from the frame down has been sand blasted, epoxy primed and Acrylic enamaled satin black or silver and everything in the motor compartment has had the same treatment except with a high temp acrylic enamal!!!! The body was stripped down to bare steel, hammer, dolly, smeared, Slick Sand, primer sealed, PPG single stage, wet sanded and buffed........... yes you can wet sand a single stage, if you lay it down right and sand it correctly...... as you can see!!!!! I hand built the spring over and built sway bars front and rear, the rear acting as an anti-wrap combo bar...... pretty trick. This Laredo is sitting on top MT Classic 11 on 35x12.5 BFG All Terrains. New seats, seat belts, sticker kit,some gauges new, new Mile Marker hubs, Pro Comp stainless brake lines(it stops on a dime). I put a master Protane poly kit on it,which includes...... motor,trans, body and all suspension parts, all new and red . The motor was rebuild app. 1500 miles ago, T5 5 speed, Dana 300 t-case. HEI dist. 10mm spark plug wires, Weber carb, cd player, 6x9 in the back, and all kinds of other goodies throughout this whole jeep, . All kinds of chrome and stainless that are brand new. New hoses, fluid through out the whole Jeep and much much more that I have probably forgotten to list. All i do is restore CJ's, my names is on every one and I back my work 100%. I build 3-4 a year, it takes me some time, ask Greg, the owner, he's ready to strangle me...... but you get what you pay for. If your looking for just a regular CJ, this one isnt for you, but if your looking for high quality that has been all hand built with 15 years of building, from rock crawlers to mall crawlers.......well your in the right spot!!!!!
