As the third owner, I purchased this car in 1978. I have all the records from that date as well as some from the previous owner. Through the years the car has been meticulously maintained in original condition right down to the original Bosch fuel injection. The car is equipped with the optional "S" package. Mileage is 104,748 and due to the overall appearance, seems to be accurate. The engine was rebuilt to factory specifications in 1985 and many upgrades were installed including stainless steel heat exchangers, chain tentioner guards as well as Aeroquip brake lines. The car had a very well done repaint in 1998 with numerous new seals and gaskets. There are some paint imperfections, however, on a scale of 1 to 10 it would probably rate 8.75. All bright work is in good to excellent condition but not perfect. The paint imperfections are small and appear at the bottom of the right front bonnet, bottom of the right rear hood, right front fender above the tire, and the bottom of the driver’s door, but that’s it. There is also a small worn place in the driver’s seat. I have the “Certificate of Authenticity” from Porsche that reveals the factory options. Vredestein Sportrac tires, 205/60/15 (75-80 percent tread) are mounted on the original 15x5.5 Fuch Alloys. Fuch alloy spare, jack, tool kit, owner’s manual and maintenance book are all there. Original radio is not available. What is not right or needs attention: clock, A/C compressor, dash (cracks under dash cover). Contact me for additional information and/or pictures.
