Vehicle Description: 1966 Lincoln Continental 4 dr Convertible: I am selling this Barn Find Lincoln for No Reserve. High bidder will take it. Please only bid if you have the funds. Thanks. OK now for the car description... This car has not been registered for use in roughly 15+ yrs. It is recently out of storage and ready for a new owner to restore. Car is equipped with power everything along with air conditioning. This is one of the rarer color combos found on the convertibles from what I am told?? I am not an expert by any means but will do my best to describe this car and I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. This car has recently (since removal from storage) undergone some mechanical upgrades/ restoration. Mainly this car is in need of a cosmetic restoration. The interior is in decent shape. Only real issue is back of drivers seat and a bit of the armrest is chewed up. The previous lady had a small dog that decided to bite and scratch the back of the seat. Otherwise all seats and leather are in good overall condition. The bite mark spots are on the back of the drivers seat separate from the seat cushion portion so it can be changed easily. Dashboard is like new with no cracks! (Dark blue color) Current upgrades/replaced parts: -Top end of motor was rebuilt -New Edlebrock Carburetor -New valves along with hardened valve seats installed during the process to run on unleaded gas -New water pump rebuild -Oil pan removed cleaned and replaced -New cap / rotor/ wires etc -New fuel pump / fuel filter -Gas tank cleaned and sending unit replaced -Oil change/ coolant flush -Complete new brake lines and brake over haul (they work great) -Tires were new 15 years ago. No miles on them but they might be dried out? Super Wide Whites! -Dual Exhaust is in great shape except for driver’s side muffler has small hole. -No other exhaust leaks noted. -Car starts right up and sounds great! What car needs in my Opinion? -Top canvas needs replaced. All hardware is complete and in place. -Relays are sticking for top and windows. Sometimes windows work and sometimes not. Power vent windows work all the time. -All top wiring function is untouched and no wires have been messed with. -Most all trim is in very good condition with only a minor small dent here and there. -Rear pass. Window glass broke out but chrome frame is there -Bodywork... Currently the car has no previous bodywork on it so what you see is what needs repaired. There is no bondo on car -Rear quarters need fixed and small spot on rear of passenger rocker. Other than some minor rust spots hear and there, those are the major issues to over come. Top boot does have some rust in each corner. (the boot that the top is attached to, not the top down one) -As you can see from the photos, underneath is very solid and rust free. -Rear bumper needs some work.
