1991 Suzuki rgv250 vj22

1991 Suzuki RGV250 VJ22, 2 V cylinder 2 stroke race bike replica, Japan import specification, speedo says 2700 km buts looks fairly new so It may not be accurate, same engine as Aprilia RS250. Rare 2 stroke race bike, the value of these bikes only goes up. Never sold in the US, this is imported from Japan so there is no US title, you are not supposed to register an import, it doesnt meet US road requirements for the year. So either race it, collect it, or ride it like a dirt bike. Will sell with a bill of sale. Just paint the tank and with the new body work included you have a very nice bike. All stock and 99% complete. Parts are easy to get, always a good selection on ebay. Engine runs great, starts easy, goes thru the gears as it should. I cleaned the carbs and changed the oil. Brakes are good. Tires are old, need replacement. Original key ( 2 of them) fits ignition, tank and seat. Bike overall has very light corrosion. Frame and sides show no damage from a crash. The old body work and tank do have some light damage. Gas tank in good condition, very light rust inside (doesn’t need any repair), a couple of dents and scratches. I have a new set of aftermarket body parts with perfect paint, also new Suzuki tank decals, and an OEM set of body parts that need paint and some repair. 2 front windscreens. I was going to paint it, but I have another new bike project consuming my funds so I have to trim the herd. Paint the tank the way you want depending on your taste. Bike is missing: front turn signals, mirrors, battery needs replacement.
