I am offering this STUNNING AND GORGEOUS 1980 Mercedes 450 SL yellow masterpiece that has been in my family since the early 90's. Second owner! The car has been kept in the garage all times. .The car was just recently serviced and is in great running and driving condition.The car only has 101800 actual miles (extremely low miles for a vintage SL).Current CA registration throughJune 2011.Books and manuals are included.The car was always from dry California with absolutely no rust anywhere.The car is completely stock and original.The car still has the nice original wheels.The tires almost new.New breake job.This is definitely a low mile survivor that was kept in gorgeous condition.There are couple ding on the paint..The doors,trunk,and hood all close perfectly.The body is factory straight and has no sun damage anywhere.Numbers matching car with no previous accident history.Driving this car down the street is such a pleasure.The car came standard with the fuel injected V-8 motor(very reliable and trouble free).The car runs and drives like a dream.The car has both the original hardtop and softtop.The brown canvas soft top has two tears.The hardtop is in excellent shape.The gorgeous tan text interior is spotless.The seats are very good shape.The original factory dash pad is in very good condition.No TEARS! The trunk is totally original and has never had any rust.It does have the original tool kit and spare tire.The spare tire holder and battery tray area are in perfect original shape with no holes or rust.The car is in amazing condition both cosmetically and mechanically.No work is needed to drive this car to your nearest show or special event.This 35 year old gem are becoming hard to come across.Would love to see this go to a good new home.I think it would make a great addition someone who wants a very nice old and reliable SL to show.
