Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my Honda Rebel 250 custom bobber. This bike is far from stock and may not be for everyone. A lot of work and modification has gone into it making it truly unique. Bike has a clear FL title in hand and is in great shape. Odometer reads 21,xxx miles original miles. I estimate the true mileage to be about 17,000(the oversize front tire accounts for the excess mileage) Mechanically the bike is flawless. Motor has been completely rebuilt and runs very strong. The only mechanical issue I ever had with the bike was with the original starter. It has since been replaced with a brand new oem honda one and it works great. Even with the hardtail the bike is very comfortable to ride. The seat is very padded and the positioning of the bars allow a very comfortable riding position. Previous to buying this bike I was worried how harsh the ride would be, but it’s nowhere near as harsh as I expected it. The previous owner had broken his back and was still able to ride the bike after back surgery. The other common question most ask is about the size of the engine and how fast it goes. It’s a 250cc so it’s not lighting fast but plenty quick to cruise around on. The bike cruises comfortably at 55mph and probably tops out right around 80mph (depending on your weight) If you’re looking for a bike that’s truly unique and just want to cruise around on it this is perfect for you. If you’re looking for a touring bike you want to do lots of highway miles with, this probably would be the bike for you. I like to be completely honest in my auctions so I will tell you the things wrong with the bike. First is the bike has no front fender. Not that big of a deal at all but is a pain if you ride in the rain. Also the front forks leak slightly. Fork oil is not gushing out by any means but after a ride there is a slight residue on the forks. The bike is still rideable by all means, but it could use some fresh fork oil and seals. Bike also has no turn signals. Good luck bidding and feel free to ask any questions!
