1973 BMW Bavaria 3.0 This was the amzaingly successful "wundercar" of its time! This was the $5000, 6 cylinder, that topped 130 mph back in its day! Clear Mississippi title issued to my company name, waiting to be reassigned to you! I am not a dealer, so you are responsible for paying all taxes, title, and registration fees in your home state. I purchased this vehicle to restore. I have lost its storage and work space, so it has to be out of its space by the end of January 2011! I have had the body of the car sanded down to its bare metal and primed with yellow primer, which cost me in excess of $2000! You can see its before and after pics in this listing. The current state is yellow primer. All glass appears to be in good condition. I have had the plugs, wires, points, and distributor changed. The motor turned nicely in 2008, but have not fired it up since. Engine compartment is dusty, as you can see in the pics, but its all there! No leaking fluids! Engine seems strong, but I have not driven it. Nice 15" BMW bottle cap rims / wheels from the 1980's. It needs complete restoration or great for parts. It also needs, but not limited to floor pans, hood (inside of hood has significant rust. It can be ordered at car-part.com), all rubber weatherstipping, interior restoration, and paintwork. Muffler and battery are missing, but all door panels, grill, bumpers, etc are stored inside the vehicle, since it was stripped down for the body work preparation. I really hate to see it go, but I cannot store it outside and see it go to waste. If you have any negative feedback in the past 12 months, you must contact me before bidding. Please bring a trailer or have a professional transporter pick up. This unit is not drivable on the streets! I can recommend some transporters for you, but you must make all the arrangements and pay in full for the transportation.
