This is my 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator Clone. It has a ford 9 inch rear with a highway gear in it and a 351w (original to car) with 5,000 miles on it. The engine was professionally built with a mild cam and mild head work. It has a mallory ignition and an edlebrock performer intake manifold and an edlebrock 650cfm carburator. It has a 160 degree thermostat and a larger radiator to keep it cool during the summer months. It starts every time you turn the key and is a great driver. The transmission is a TCI streetfighter C6 with an external trans cooler. It doesn't have 1,000 miles on it. It needs some linkage adjustment but it is driveable the way it is. Suspension is kyb gas adjust shocks all the way around with an added leaf in the rear (eliminator correct) and lowering springs in the front. The car has 15 inch cragar ss wheels all the way around. It also has the original air conditioning under the hood too. It never worked and I never tied to fix it but it is all there. The body of the car is good. 98& Rust Free...no dents...Great Paint over great body work. (email me with any questions). The interior is good. Original except for a newer radio that has a 10 cd changer in the trunk and a tach mounted on the column (period correct). Also, has newer grey bucket seats out of a 98 trans am in it. The carpet has been replaced and shows fine. This was my first car...always garage kept and never driven in anything but sun! This car is a great driver and wouldn't take much to show really well.
