Up for auction is My 1972 Pro Touring Camaro. I have owned the car for around 4 years,I Purchased the car for $32,000 I completely stripped the car of everything but the paint Because is was Laser straight and Flawless. Now here in 2011 after I have got about $140,000 dollars in upgrades not including endless hours of labor and at many different Custom Shops(Interior,Engine shop). After everything is said and done you end up with a very Outstanding Car that you are afraid to drive because of the value.Well I have drove the car probally around 300 miles and I even drove it on A road Course here in Michigan and I have had the car at a handfull of Car Shows where it wins almost everytime Including in award at Goodguys in Columbus, Goodguys at Indy and an award at Detroit Auto Rama and several 1st Place awards at the Camaro Superfest. This Car has been featured and on the cover of two popular magazines including Super Rod and the October 2010 issue of Camaro Performers Magazine. In the rear-All welded in a full 4-link air bar from RIDETECH with billet shockwaves to adjust the ride hidth and get great stabilitythe gauges are mounted under the dash. Drivetrain:A heavey duty TH-350 has been Powdercoated black and beefed up to handle up to 750 hp with a Coan 10 inch torque converter 3500 rpm and a Brookes specialty Aluminum Transmission Crossmember It has a STRANGE CHROMOLY Driveshaft and 2 STRANGE yokes($1000 for all 3) Rearend:100% Mosier rearend Narrowed straight from Mosier wih 31 spline axls and the heaveyduty aluminum cover The rearend housing has also been ground smooth and then base coat/clear coated for a beautiful look 3:73 gears with posi Body:The paint is about 7 years old but still looks very slick and Glossy as it has been babied, It is a Dupont CHROMA PREMIER Base coat/clearcoat the color is mediteranean blue, All of the window trim has been lightly sandblasted,metal etched primered and painted black, All of the bumper bolts have been welded in for a nice smooth look and also painted black. Steering:Inside is a Flaming River D shaped Leather wrapped Steering Wheel connected to a Chrome polished Flaming river Steering column(tilt, turning signals,ignition)Under the hood:A polished double-d shaft with two polished universal joints and last is a Quick Ratio Flaming River Steering Box for great driveabilty on the street or track. Lighting:Front-A new modern tribeam head light and the two inside lights are a high quality Marquez Design Fog Lamp($450-pair) in the rear are high Quality custom made digital led lights that make a swooshing effect when the blinkers are on and are very bright when the brakes are on and the lenses themselves are custom from Marquez design and are Anodized Black to match everything else! Interior:The interior is all custom with leather seats that are reclinable and have lumbar, this car has power windows, power locks,push button trunk release.The seats have airplane style chrome seatbelts, the shifter is a black diamond ratchet style Shifter by B&M The Door handles have been relocated and are now in the arm rest for a sleek look. the Computer for the Fuel injection is under the passenger side dash for easy access if needed along with the MSD 6 AL box(less wires under the hood). The majority of the interior has been Dynamated along with the door panels for sound deadening(still has rumblel) All the gauges are autometer carbon fiber edtion that match the shifter and seats.
