1948 Chevrolet Fleetline Aero (Fastback) Sedan Street Rod. This is perhaps one of the neatest 1946,47,48, body styles. There seem to be plenty of 2 door coupes and Sedans but not many Fleetline Aero Fastback Sedans. This Chevrolet was professionally built about 9 years ago. It has a Crate 350 V8 Engine with 4 barrel carburetor and a 350 Turbo Transmission as well as a oversize Aluminum Radiator. At Restoration a 70 Nova Clip with Rack & Pinion Power Steering, and Power Disc Brakes was installed. It also has Cold Air Conditioning and Hot Heat, as well as Power Windows and Stereo Radio. The body is very Solid and Straight and Painted in high quality Jet Black Paint. All Glass and Rubbers were replaced at restoration, and are still in great condition. This Chevrolet has full painted Bumpers and exterior door handles. The frame and floors are also very solid. (See Pictures of under Carriage). The original two piece hood was decked and smoothed. The interior is Grey Velour and is in perfect condition. It has been converted to Front and Rear Bucket Seats for added comfort. Note the custom fabricated Console that runs from front to rear. This Rare Aero Sedan is absolutely a pleasure to drive. This car is very well engineered and Runs, Drives, and Stops Great. This Chevrolet also has new Boss 18x8 inch polished wheels that really make it stand out. It cranks great hot or cold. You can drive this Chevy anywhere with pride. Also included is the Front windshield Visor that is painted black to match the car and can be easily installed if you would like to change the look of this 48. This car will be sold as-is.
