1948 Dodge 3/4 ton, factory stake bed pickup truck. Barn find - - has heavy duty 4-speed truck transmission on floor with granny low for a 1st gear. Truck is quite solid for to be 62 years old. No broken out glass, but glass does have a crack in side windows. Original gauges and speedometer intact, dash is not torn up. Engine is stuck, but I don't know how bad. I could not turn it with the fan while tensioning the belt. I have not done any work to it, so I am offering it at a low price before I get it running or do any other work to it. Tires hold air. The stake bed is the factory style, that is, it has the metal bed rectangle, some holes in the wood floor. Stake sides are missing. The frame is very solid, only medium rust. Would make a good vehicle for an easy restoration or a great rat rod as is. Brakes of course, are down, from many years of not being operated. Not many of these heavy duty pickups left that have not been all torn up. Clear title. Old Cars Price Guide shows this truck to be worth $2100 in #5 condition.
