Vehicle Detail
Hi- So I'm selling my baby/project for the past 3 years, due to being out of work... 1995 Jeep Wrangler, Red and a gray gut, Black hardtop. I have about $8,000 invested in this thing, and she's a few hours of work and a few bucks away from being really nice.. In the past two years, she's had a ton of upgrades. New 16 inch Rubicon wheels and tires including the matching spare, a 4 inch Rough Country lift, Smitty Bilt tube bumpers, front and back, and stepbars to match.. Fender flares, stainless steel hardware everywhere you can put it for the most part.. I have replaced all the brakelines, including Stainless Steel braided extensions due to the lift.. Calipers, pads, shoes, drums.. pretty everything except the distribution block and the master cylinder were/was replaced- Also has a K&N filter, and Bosch wires and plugs, all put on at 95,000 miles. Also recently added a Momo steering wheel, looks really good with the red accents- Also added a hitch which was welded on, as are the step bumpers... the two front fenders are also new with new paint (obviously), because they were starting to rot a little so I had them replaced.. This thing, as with any 15 year old Jeep, has a few quirks. The low beams don't work.. I think it is probably just the switch in the column not being triggered.. Or could be the lamps, I have a new set, just haven't tested them yet.. I also ripped the carpet out, had intentions of Rhino Lining the floor after I patched driver side, and never got around to it, so it's just bare metal... You can get the kit and DIY for 100.00 at any auto zone. The passenger side door handle needs to be replaced, and there are a few VERY SMALL tears in the driver side seat on the side, (SEE PICS) Mechanically, the only issue I recently broke a tooth off of the lower drive gear... It drives fine, just clicks with each revolution of the gear. Definitely something you'll want to fix sooner than later though, so you don't make it a bigger issue. Shifts on the fly ok, and as far as the transfer case is concerned, everything is good.. I have replaced the starter, alternator, and actuator for the 4x4.. also added a CD player, and a soundbar with upgraded Sony Speakers, so it sounds pretty good, i.e., you can actually hear it when the top is off. Speaking of tops... Comes with the hard top (as pictured), also have the softop (including frame and windows), and most recently purchased a bikini top from BesTTop. So, pick you poison. I apologize for not cleaning this up better for the photos, but it hasn't been over 25 degrees outside where I live in a week.. Really cleans up well though- I get a lot of compliments on her. Oh, there is also a clip that broke off the clutch pedal that keeps it from popping out that needs to be replaced... Not a big deal, hasn't been there in 3 months, never been an issue- it will also (by summertime or whenever you decide to put the soft top back on it), need the windshield channel the the front of the top attaches to. They are like 20 bucks. I really hate to sell this, I looooove it. But gotta do what you gotta do. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks -Phil Item is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early, at any time.. If you like what you see, feel free to make an offer, but nothing ridiculous please..
