1993 F250 XLT diesel, extended cab. This is the 7.3l IDI non turbo engine. Currently the odometer reads 126,320 miles but i do drive it occasionally so it may be a little more on delivery. The truck has always been a southern vehicle, well maintained and shows no rust. Mechanically it is in very good condition, runs excellent, shifts correctly. Fuel mileage is 18mpg around town and 20mpg on the highway. MPG will vary with driving style and conditions but a diesel will always give much better than gasoline. The truck has no engine computer to fail. The IDI engines are very reliable with little maintenance required. Look at other trucks that have 250,00 miles and still going strong. The previous owner never towed with this truck and I only used it for my 17ft fishing boat so it has never been driven hard. No shakes or shimmies when driving. Very slight pull to the right but still has one finger steering. The engine compartment is clean, intact and almost original. No modifications or problems. All belts and hoses are good. Newer radiator (earlier this year), with Fleetguard ES COMPLEAT Coolant. There is now an electric fuel boost pump, Carter, made for diesel, the mechanical pump has been removed. Fuel pressure gauge added in cab. The transmission is an e4od which is a strong trans. Transmission shifts correctly and smoothly. The torque converter operates normal. The 4th gear lockout has been relocated to the dash. Interior is in good condition with no major problems. All lights work. Everything is intact. No tears in the upholstery, Although there seems to be parts (grommets) missing from the headrests. no major stains anywhere. Overall very clean inside. Exterior has original paint with no bodywork or touch up. Very few and very minor rock or door dings. The only body damage is on the back just forward of the brake lights where it appears that it may have been caught in a gate that was closing, no hard creases just pushed in. Also the paint is showing some sun damage on top of the cab and on the hood. No rust. Appears to have had a cap or tool boxes or something installed on the bed as there are six small holes drilled next to stake pockets (one per pocket). Tailgate has one small dent. Bed of truck is very clean with only minimal damage, no rust. Underneath there are no leaks. Frame is in excellent condition. Drive shaft has surface rust, not major but they were shipped from Ford with no paint (most cars have no paint on the drive shaft for balance reasons). Has a reciever hitch, was not used before i bought the truck. Has never had gooseneck or fifth wheel installed. Tires are in good condition, they were on the truck when I bought it so I do not know the age or miles. This truck has PS, PW, PDL CC, AC, Tilt, Engine Heater and Tow Package. Included is a complete set of Ford service and parts manuals for the 1993 F-Series. I will work with assisting shipping as much as possible. The only reason I am selling it is I have to many vehicles and no time for them.
