We have up for auction a complete unmolested 1975 Oldsmobile ninety-eight. This vehicle was stored under a cover in a barn for over 20 years. It is loaded and a perfect candidate for a restoration. Options include the following... Running and Moving 455 olds with a TH400 automatic trans. 12 bolt non-posi rear end.factory a/c unsure if it still works.power seats which work great. cruise control . Unsure if operable. power trunk release which works. all sorts of power and lighting options inside. all seem to work !This vehicle is very very solid for its age. the frame is in great shape and the rest of the body should be easily restoreable . The interior needs a good cleaning. The ignition key was lost over the last 20 years so we had to remove the cylinder . Unbelievably the power seats and trunk release still work fine. This was a fully loaded vehicle . Comes with clear NYS Title . We installed a new battery and bypassed the fuel tank with a temporary fuel cel. The engine turned and fired almost immediately . It idles and runs through the gears just fine. The brakes leaked out so the brakes will need a full going over. The fuel tank should be removed and cleaned as well. You can hear this run before you buy folks. Sorry about the cruddy pics but it is the best we can offer right now. This vehicle is listed at a very modest price. We could pull the driveline and scrap the body for the price we are asking but we feel there must be someone out there that sees the potential in this car. However it is not going to be on here forever. We do not have the storage space for it so if it does not sell we will be forced to send it to slaughter.
