This auction is for my project 1973 Bill Stroppe Baja Bronco... it is a definite project for sure... but to the right person or Bronco shop [ hint hint ] it will be a walk in the park... this is the Baja Bronco that is referenced in the WH catalogue... back in the early to mid 90's when J.C. parted this Bronco out before he actually knew what a BAJA Bronco was...this is one of around 650 Bronco's that were special ordered and fully modified by Bill Stroppe and Associates from 1971 to early 1975 in Long Beach, Ca... I have the frame with dual shock mounts and glove box door and title, body tub, roll bar, trailer hitch, padded steering wheel, full set of Mag wheels, front bumper and bumper braces and even a middle seat...if you have any questions at all Please don't hesitate to ask...I have the Marti report on this Bronco as well...this Baja was ordered and delivered to Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs back on Dec 15 1972... paypal is preferred for 1000.00 deposit ... due within 48 hours from the end of the auction...I reserve the right to end the auction early... Thanks for Looking and Please check out my other Early Bronco goodies up for auction this next weekOn Dec-26-10 at 19:06:26 PST, seller added the following information: Thanks for all the questions and interest... on the Marti report it does say that this Bronco did come with the C4 automatic transmission option but it is long gone along with the original Dana 44 and third member out of the rear end...all of the interior is gone along with the dash and steering column...like my ad reads Jim C. of WH Bronco's parted this Bronco out back in the early to mid 90's along with his shop helper...there is no top,tailgate,w/s frame,front fenders, grill or hood... it is an original Baja Bronco that will need a full restoration from top to bottom...the body tub has some minor rust issues but is all reparable for sure...all of the Baja specific parts that I have listed for this Bronco I have collected over the last 10 years...On Dec-26-10 at 19:13:12 PST, seller added the following information: just a quick up-date... it does have front fenders on it where it sets but they are not the correct Baja trimmed/rolled fenders... Thx, BroncosrOn Dec-30-10 at 16:34:31 PST, seller added the following information: another major up-date...many members of the Bronco community know some of the history about this Baja Bronco...to clear up some major details... the original body tub of the ebay listed Baja Bronco... it was burnt very bad in a fire back in the late 80's or early 90's... [ the King can verify this ] this is part of the reason that WH parted it out... I have that burnt body tub in my back 40...the tub that I have listed was also a Stroppe Baja from day 1... but when I found it 10 years ago the previous owner had already parted it out not knowing anything about what a Stroppe Baja was and the frame was sold to a donor project Bronco ...this is why I listed this this tub with the burnt original Baja frame...to make it a workable Stroppe Baja restoration project with a good useable BAJA tub... now you and everybody know's the rest of the story !!!!!!!!!!!
