You are viewing an auction for a 1988 Bronco XLT. THERE IS NO TITLE WITH THIS TRUCK. Nothing shady. I bought it six years ago because I like Bronco’s and had never found one this solid. I never titled it into my name. I’ve since misplaced the title, and have not been able to track down the previous owner. This is arguably the cleanest and closest to “Rust Free” 88 Bronco you’ll see. The trans was replaced shortly before it was taken off the road. The motor will run, but needs work. I think the previous owner replaced the distributor but put it in one tooth out, or it jumped timing, not sure. The last time I had it on a lift, about two years ago, every thing in the drive train was smooth and quiet. The 4-wheel drive worked, and the transfer case shifted smoothly with no grinding. I was going to restore it. I’ve recently been burdened by mounting Medical Bills, and can’t afford to store the Truck any longer. Nor do I see the time in my near future to give it the attention it deserves. Exterior: The Tub is as solid s they come. The Truck has very, very little rust. No rust-through, and nothing on the rocker panels or under the floor mats. It is all very solid. Interior: The Interior is very clean with no Rips.
