Re-Listed Due to Death in Buyers Family This is a very nice example of a V12 Jaguar XJS. When my father bought this car and it had been in storage for 8 years in a parking garage. He went through it top to bottom & had all necessary repairs completed by a certified Jaguar mechanic. Here is a list of what is brand new: Brand New: - Radiator “re –cored” -Radiator caps -Oil filter -Fuel filter -Tires The engine runs great and really strong. The transmission has been replaced recently. My dad bought the vehicle around 2005 and drove it to work regularly. In 2007 he had the opportunity to buy a low mileage 2004 Crossfire. He stored the Jag for 2 years then decided to have me clean it up for him. The rack and pinion has a tight spot at dead center where the wheel sat when parked. I found a replacement for under $300.00 @ “captain Jacks cat house”. He did not want to put any more money into it & had no time to work on it. He gave it to me and I was going to restore it. I’ve recently been burdened by mounting Medical Bills, and can’t afford to store the car any longer. Nor do I see the time in my near future to give it the attention it deserves. Exterior: The car has very, very little rust. No rust-through, and nothing on the rocker panels or under the floor mats. It is all very solid. Interior: The interior is extremely nice for the year of the vehicle. There is some wear on the outer wing of the drivers seat. The headliner is hanging from storage and will need to be replaced. The natural wood around the shifter should be replaced. It has an am/fm/cassette player stereo as well. There is also a spare stereo in the trunk. The radio will not hold the code so we purchased another radio, but never got the chance to install it. I then found out it only needs the small memory battery replaced in the back of it. The car has a clear title, and just passed NJ State Inspection @ a state run facility. It’s a real head turner, and always draws compliments wherever it’s driven. The engine is strong and has a lot of torque. The chrome pieces on the exterior are all very sharp and it could be a fantastic car with a little work. It is a nearly all-original car with little modification. It has the original rims. Shipping is the buyers responsibility.
