Up for sale is my 1987 Jaguar XJ6 - Chevy Conversion - I MUST SELL!!! Do not want to. My car was recently hit by another unlicensed driver on 12/15 and did we did not carry full coverage. I am selling it AS IS. The motor is in excellent condition - the only damage from the accident was to the driver's side rear quarter panel and front fender, some possible front wheel damage. I simply do not have the money to repair it at this time. It has a 350 TPI engine and 700 R4 transmission the motor has approx 120K miles. It is SMOG Legal in the state of california and tags are paid up until 12/2011 - I have submitted a non-use form to the CA DMV after the accident. Interior is in nice condition - no radio. I have added all Autometer gauges they look sharp. Both gas tanks are teed off to drain equally for better rear end balance. B&M shifter. This is my second Jag successful conversion (the first car was also wrecked by a druck driver) - using the kit purchased from John's Cars. If you have the body work repaired you will have an excellent and nice looking car - I always had some kind of compliment when I drove this car around town - it purrs like a wild cat. If purchased, the car may need to be towed home since the rear quater panel rubs the tire or we will have to pull it out. My loss can be your gain!
