UPDATE: The charging issue has been resolved, I was able to wire in a new external voltage regulator today in place of the voltage regulator that is in the PCM (computer). Charges steady at 15 volts! UPDATE: Truck has option heavy duty front axle (4,500 lb) versus standard axle (3,500 lb). This truck was originally on ebay just after Thanksgiving as some of you have asked, I recently traded my clean but not running 1987 Subaru GL-10 lifted 4x4 wagon for this truck with the intention to then sell it. The truck's condition remains the same as it was with the previous owner, but I am offering more details to some of its defects. The body is rusty, but nothing beyond repair (the rust on this is nothing compared to the 1956 Imperial I'm restoring), but the chassis and drive train is straight and solid. This is also the cheapest Cummins 4x4 you will find on ebay or probably any where else. It's also only 2 years away from being considered a classic. 1993 Dodge Ram LE W250 Cummins Diesel 4x4 Automatic Extended Cab 230,000 miles, runs strong and has excellent tires. The Good: Power windows, locks, and cruise all work A few dents throughout the body Solid trailer hitch Drivers door is straight and clean Truck seems like no one ever tried to modify it in any way. New radiator Starts instantly and runs smoothly Transmission shifts smoothly Frame, spring hangers etc are solid and straight Steering is tight and drives straight All lights work besides a few clearance lights on top of the cab and the turn signals Transfer case, 4 low and high and locking hubs work properly Locking front hubs are smooth and go in and out easily New battery as of 12-21-10 (1000 cranking amps, 850 cold cranking amps) Known Issues: A few dents throughout the body, incorrect grill from older truck Tail gate does not match and handle is not connected to rods Trailer brake controller and wiring are there, but need to be reconnected Has new brake lines, but they were not bled properly and should be before the vehicle is driven on a regular basis. Brakes do work, but the pedal is soft but gets hard after pumping. Parking brake does not function. ABS light and the rear ABS valve is unplugged. Cab corners and rocker panels are rused through, the driver's side rocker is especially bad. Driver floor is rotten as well. Has a transmission fluid cooler under the bed that has gone bad, a new one was hung in place but it was hung poorly and should be redone properly. Turn signals and hazard lights do not work, most likely due to a corroded or broken ground Radio does not turn on I reserve the right to end the auction early if I sell the truck locally. I have 100% positive feedback so bid with confidence. I have done my best to describe the truck accurately and have taken pictures of the worst issues of the truck.
