Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a classic 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood M&M Conversions Hearse. The car has either a 502 or a 472, I am not sure what is in it. It has been a couple years since it was started, but it was a daily driver until 1998 when it was parked in a retired mans driveway, and sat there until I purchased it. The previous owners son purchased new plugs, wires, coil, points, oil, etc and started to install these items to freshen it up and get it on the road again, but ran out of money before he could finish. I have not even attempted to start the car, and I am sure it will need all the proper care any car needs after sitting for several years, but it should crank and run without any major work. The engine and body only have 72,000 miles on them. If I were to keep it, I would paint it flat black, bag it on 22's, and limo tint the windows, but I will never get round to giving it the attention it needs, so it sells to the highest bidder. This is a final auction, the vehicle is NOT for sale locally, so bid with confidence. The Hearse has numerous areas of rust through around the entire car in the lower portions, but it is very fixable. I have seen much worse restored. The entire undercarriage and frame are very very solid and rust free. The front floor boards are almost entirely rusted out, but these can be purchased cheaply and are easy to install. All the rust spots on the mid and upper portions of the car are only surface rust and can be easily sanded out. I do not have a rear bumper. Dash, gauges, etc are all in very good condition, seat is rough. ALL rear interior is in very very good condition and needs nothing but perhaps a thorough cleaning. The windshield is cracked, but all other glass is good. All windows and doors work very well, except the driver side rear door seems to have the lock stuck.
