1956 Pontiac Catalina 870 Chieftan, Here is the one you've been looking for....if, of course what you're looking for is a beautiful, unmolested Pontiac! Made in California and lived it's whole life here. Paint and interior re-done 20-ish years ago. Not perfect, but close! Nice shine to paint, solid and very nice interior. Very good chrome. Everything works! All guages, horn lights etc. Wipers are 2-spd 12 volt. Original radio works, under-seat heaters. Original "Swamp-Cooler A/C" unit is visible in photo of trunk. No visible rust. No leaks of any kind. 316 V-8 with two barrel carb. Dual-range Hydramatic transmission. Starts fine, runs fine, shifts fine. A dream to drive on the freeway. Cruise all day long at 80 mph (if you want to)! Noone's ever messed with this car! It's the most original 56 I've ever seen. Less than 82,000 miles on odometer, which I absolutely believe to be correct. Drive it everyday, on the weekends and to an occasional car show, this car grabs attention!
