Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! 1970 P1800E Volvo This is what I know about this car it has been repainted and the color is wrong should be red, the floor pans on both sides have been replaced you can see that in the pictures the only other rust I saw was the areas I took pictures of one small spot on the windshield pillar and a few bubbles on the rear quarter. I will be adding pictures of the underside on Monday but it is very clean. When I purchased the car I was told it had been in dry storage for 20 years, I believe that to be true the odometer only has 72,251 miles on it after that it was outside for a year. I drove by it almost every day and couldn't bear to see it go through another winter so I bought it, now I am moving to the West Coast and do not feel like transporting it. It appear that the previous owner was restoring the car, paint and interior that is why some of the parts are off the car the only thing I have found to be missing is the lock for the trunk and the radio, the last owner also lost the keys and I haven't had new ones cut. I installed a new battery pulled the plugs and shot oil into the cylinders and turned it over a few times without the plugs to preoil everything and shot some starting fluid into it and it started right up. The old owner also was afraid of spiders so he caulked he windows shut while it was in dry storage I have removed most of it but some is still there, also there are various new parts that go with the car.
