Up for sale is a must have for any serious muscle car enthusiast. Here is a stunning 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T that has been the recipient of a full rotisserie restoration that was completed aprox 2 years ago. Since the completion of this cars restoration it has been driven very little, pampered and garage kept and still shows extremely well! This is an extremely solid, ALL original, NO rust sheetmetal California car! The paint is marvelous base/coat clear/ coat that is too say the least slicker than glass and lazer straight and the body alignments are near perfect! Everything fits excellent and the doors open/shut as if new! I would rate the paint a very strong 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 with a 10 being perfect and keeping in mind that I will pick a new cars paint finish. All of the jams, engine compartment underside etc are slick and clean as well. All of the accesories, chrome, vinyl top, decals, emblems, rubbers, bezels, etc. etc. were all replaced new at the time of resto and still remain in like new condition! The glass appears to be all factory original and looks outstanding with the exception of a few minor scratches in the back glass. The undercarriage is just as clean as the rest of the car as it was done on a rotisserie. It is slick and clean and shows NO sign of rust or patch work. The car has all new fuel tank, fuel lines, brakes, brake lines, shocks, bushings, suspension parts, etc. etc. The car has been driven and enjoyed and if you are going to show it, the only thing I could recommend would maybe be some new aluminized exhaust and a light cleaning. The interior features the rallye instrument gauges with tach, an aftermarket am/fm/ cd that is nicely installed all correct bucket seats w/ factory console and shifter. The interior on this Challenger is also outstanding appearing to have all been replaced new at time of resto and like the rest of the car still shows very well and is free from any rips tears or stains! The only thing I can find that may be picked inside is the needle on the speedometer is broken, some light pitting on the chrome around the shifter and one small place aprox the size of pencil eraser on the pass side door panel. These are ver very minor but that is me being picky so you won't have any surprises. I was told the complete drivetrain was completely rebuilt during the resto and the car has been driven less than 2500 miles since. The motor has a very crisp responsive sound. It sounds awesome and runs very strong. The engine also has all new belts, lines, seals, gaskets and components etc. etc. A new aluminum radiator was also installed to insure NO heating problems! It is attached to an automatic transmission that shifts perfect and the factory rear. This car is mechanically sound and has NO known problems or issues.
