This ‘95 Silverado extended cab Z71 4x4 pickup is in very nice shape, especially for its age of 16 years. As a hobby, I buy decent older trucks (when I can find them) and clean / detail / repair them and put them back up for sale. I’ve been selling vehicles on eBay for over 8 years and with 100% positive feedback. Again, it’s hobby for me, so, I have the time and ambition to go over them thoroughly before I list them for sale. That way, I get to find out if there’s anything wrong, so I can address it prior to selling it. I got this one from a middle-aged couple who were downsizing from 2 vehicles to one. The following is as honest and complete a description as I can think of: Mechanically, the truck runs great. I have used this truck for the entire deer hunting season and have put over 2,000 miles on it. The driveline is tight. (no clunking or play in it). The steering is also tight and straight. The engine sounds great, as well. There are no noises in it……even at start-up……and the oil pressure is strong. (40 psi warm idle / 60psi cold idle) There is no smoke out of the tail pipe. The transmission shifts perfectly and has clean red fluid in it. There is an auxiliary trans. cooler on it, as well. The following 2 items were the only things I could find mechanically not up to par and they will be corrected prior to the sale of the truck: The intake manifold gasket has a slight leak (extremely common on the GM V-8s) and the temp. gauge isn’t working (needs a sending unit). Again, both will be properly repaired prior to the sale. I’m currently driving the truck, so the leak isn’t at all bad. In fact, I only put less than a pint of oil in it in over 2,000 miles. The front brakes are new, as are the wiper blades and the exhaust system (cat-back). The exhaust has a MAGNAFLOW stainless steel muffler, which sounds great. Not loud, just a nice low rumble. The tail pipe is galvanized 3” and there is an oversized chrome extension. The oil (which is synthetic) and the coolant will be changed when the intake gasket is done. Cosmetically, the truck is also very nice, with a few (normal and expected) exceptions. It has several spots where the clear coat is chipping off the paint. It’s what I’d call a “10-footer”. From 10 feet away, it looks VERY nice. Close-up, you can definitely see it. Also, there is a dent on the top of the tailgate. There is NO BODY RUST ON THIS TRUCK. The door bottoms, cab corners, wheel arches, etc., are all original and rust-free. The frame is virtually perfect from the bed forward. From the cab-back, it has its typical surface rust, but definitely no rot. The detail shop cleaned the undercarriage and re-undercoated the frame. The inside of the bed looks virtually new, as it had a cap on it since new. The cap is available, free of charge, if the new owner wants it. It’s also in good shape, but dirty from sitting out. There is also some clear coat peeling on the top of it. This truck is not a “show winner”. It is simply a VERY decent, very solid and very reliable daily driver for someone who needs a real good truck on a budget. If you want a “show winner”, you COULD make this truck into one, but you’d have to spend some money to do it. I’d considered having the truck painted, etc…….but I’d need to sell it for more and since most people want to buy a truck to USE it as a truck, I decided it looks plenty good as it is and can keep the selling price down, too. If you’re looking for as good a truck as you can find in the “under $6K price range“, this is probably the one for you. I believe this has been a very comprehensive description, however, I’d be delighted to speak with you and answer ANY questions you have. I don’t want a dissatisfied buyer, so, PLEASE ask your questions before you commit to buy. Please view my (100% POSITIVE!) eBay feedback and buyer’s comments. I’ve sold over 300 vehicles directly on eBay or locally because of my eBay listings. I’ve never had a dissatisfied buyer and whomever winds up with this one should be satisfied, too. Feel free to make an appointment and come inspect / test-drive this truck in-person. My name is Marc. I can be reached at (484) 241-7040. PLEASE NO E-MAILS.
