You are bidding on a rare early production 2 tops convertible 1975 Benz 450sl, V8 gas engine with automatic transmission. Unrestricted very powerful engine with very low original miles, 123k/ miles. Car now does not start, but does turn trying to start and I am not sure of the issue, This car have over $9k worth of receipts just in the past 4 years alone and the past 7k/miles and I will list the work done below. Car ran very well and everything worked as it should before it was parked. Most sought after car and it does hold its value, NADA still puts it at well over $23k and still keeps going up in value. Here is what was done to the car: ^ Cam Shaft, Bearings & Rocker Arms ^ Valve Gaskets & Adjustments ^ All New Exhaust System ^ Paint ^ Tires & Battery ^ Ignition Module as well as Core & Wiring ^ MSD Control Unit ^ Ignition Points, Condenser & rear Sway Bar Links ^ CD System/ Pull Out ^ Front Brake Pads, Calipers, Rotors, Hoses & Sensors ^ Rear Brake Pads, Calipers, Rotors & Sensors Exterior looks fine as you can see from photos, but it does have scratches, paint chips, as well as some rust undercarriage, not bad at all. Driver side marker lens is broken as well as the bezel, it is easy to repair; also it has a broken reflector lens, also passenger outside mirror is missing, only mirror and cost $15 to replace. It has 16 inch Centra rims that were made for this car that gives it more of a richer looks! All glass, chrome and moldings are also very good. Tires, brakes and exhaust are also excellent. Please know that you are not buying a perfect car or a show car, it needs some work. As mentioned above, car does not run and will need to be towed. It does have a soft top and I did not check and see the condition of it, but I was told that it was serviceable. Car is located in Milwaukee. Title is free, clear and in hand.
