1999 Ford Ranger XLT Super Cab 4x4 3.0 Automatic Power Windows Power Locks Power Mirrors Sliding Rear Window This will make a very nice truck for somebody. The truck runs good and the transmission shifts good. There is no check engine lights or trouble codes. The interior is nice but could use a good cleaning. The exterior has a couple dings but nothing terrible. I have included pictures of the 2 dings one on the hood and one on the bed. The drivers side tail light has a small chip but nothing that effects its function. I bought the truck with a bad motor. I had a 4wd frame complete with drivetrain so I did a frame swap, the truck was originally a 2wd. The 2wd frame and the original truck had high mileage, 231,000 miles but the truck was from Florida and the body was rust free. Before the frame swap I wire brushed the frame and painted it with rustoleum paint. This is not a rigged up truck. I did the swap the right way by replacing the wiring harnesses so the factory 4wd switch works as it should and the 4wd clicks right in. This is the 3rd Ranger I have converted to 4x4. Since the swap I have put a couple hundred miles on the truck with no problems. As with any used vehicle it is not perfect and this one has a few minor issues. The tires are probably 40-50% and should be replaced for snowy weather. The emergency brake cables are frozen up and will need replaced if you want the emergency brake to work. One of the rotors will need turned or replaced there is a slight pulsing when stopping. Rotors are about 30 bucks at Autozone or Advance. The only other issue is the cd player doesn't work, it says cd error...might be repairable?If you are looking for a nice 4x4 extended cab truck on a budget this could be the one. This truck has a lot of life left in it. The truck is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. If you are local and want to come and see the truck just ask.
